The Yoyo Grip is a super-stretchy phone harness made from upcycled bike inner tubes.
With its unique cut-out shape, the Yoyo Grip fits most phones without blocking the camera, flash, or charging port. The utility clip and elasticated cord can be clipped to a bag, belt or jacket – or looped around your wrist for safety when you’re trying to get that perfect shot.
As if that wasn’t enough, the packaging is also made from recycled cardboard and is 100% plastic-free!
Save your phone, and the environment.
There are 3.5 billion smartphone users worldwide, with 78% of the UK population owning one.
That’s a lot of mobile phones that are contributing towards our carbon footprint, and we felt we had to do something about it.
Used bike inner tubes also go to landfill, so we decided to tackle both issues head on. Armed with a laser cutter and hundreds of waste bike inner tubes, we created a product to save the screens in an eco-friendly and sustainable way.
And so – The Yoyo Grip was born.
Our aim is to stop mobile phones from dropping, cracking or getting lost to extend the devices’ life-cycle as much as possible.
Saving your phone, and the planet!
Upstainable HQ can be found on the outskirts of Chesterfield – a short hop, skip and a jump from the Peak District National Park.
